DIY Halloween Lantern

INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE YOUR HALLOWEEN LANTERN

1.   Decide the layout of your napkin on your jar and cut the napkin to size. You can also cut up the napkin into pieces to be glued on the jar in a random arrangement.

2.      Cover your jar in Mod Podge with a brush (I like to use a matte finish).

3.      Place your napkin onto your jar how you want.

4.      When you have covered your entire jar with the napkin, brush on a final coat of Mod Podge to seal everything.

5.      When your jar is completely dry, you can add stickers, jewels, or any kind of decoration. If your stickers aren’t very sticky use some Mod Podge to stick them on, but you could use white glue or even a glue gun.

6.      Tie the string into a bow at the top of the jar after you’ve wrapped it around the lid twice, like the picture below.

7.      Turn your tealight on and place it in your jar.

8.      Enjoy!
